Throughout the pandemic and in possession of some spare time, Jessica Jones took a detour from her usual saxophone playing to dabble in the piano. This, combined with the request given by Cazadero Performing Arts Family Camp to her husband Tony Jones for an online concert, presented the perfect opportunity for new experimentation in their music-making. The couple decided to broadcast the online concert live from their studio and make it into a recording session. All of the music heard in the album was recorded in February of 2022.

The songs are mostly originals with a few jazz standards sprinkled throughout.
